A retired professor of political science, I currently serve as chair of the Clay County Commission.
I’m working with four other households to establish South Dakota’s first cohousing community in Vermillion, SD, home of the University of South Dakota. We are blessed with high quality of life, thanks to a caring community, the University’s excellent cultural offerings, and the Missouri National Recreation River, a National Park on our doorstep. We are planning 20 units with a common house and a space for storage of recreational equipment.
