I am a founding member of Nyland Cohousing in Lafayette, CO. My wife Colette and I began working with our group to build Nyland in 1989 and moved into the community in 1993.  Since then Colette and I have been active in Nyland in a number of ways: from being on the original Design Team for the development and worked later with the specific Kitchen Design Team, serving as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for 3 different terms, a total of about 10-11 years, and also serving for 20 years as Treasurer for our for-profit business Nyland Does Things.   Colette also served on our Land/Landscape group for 25 years and was the Tree Steward for our over 300 trees for that period of time arranging for and managing the care of the trees by professional tree experts.
