Bio

I first learned about cohousing from the McKamits when they visited our home on Boulder, CO around 1993. They made a presentation to Geneva Community which sparked the formation of at least 5 communities across Colorado.

Before that I served in the U.S. Air Force as a Captain from 1973 – 79. I was a leader of the team building the first computer-based training system for the USAF. Starting my first company in 1979 bringing computer-based training to fortune 100 companies, I co-founded or served on the board/executive team of nine different nonprofit and nineteen for-profit organizations. Today my passion has turned to nonprofit capitalism, inspiring and guiding individuals, groups, and organizations to build their dreams while contributing to the good of the Whole.

In August 2022, I was invited to join the Board of Directors of Permanently Attainable Living – Kauai. (www.PAL-Kauai.org). PAL has a vision of building 5,000 homes on Kauai. Current funding for PAL is over $10 million. Stay tuned!
