Karen Gimnig Nemiah supports communities and organizations in building strong relationships and effective, efficient decision-making. She has lived in cohousing, served as a board and staff member of CohoUS, and supported dozens of communities as a consultant and instructor. She coauthored The Cooperative Culture Handbook with Yana Ludwig, has written extensively for the cohousing.org blog, and hosts the podcast, Employing Differences with Paul Tevis. She teaches courses through the Cohousing Institute and is available as a consultant for communities. She lives in Anacortes Washington with her husband.
