Bio

I worked as a graphic designer for many years, taught design and used my design in various volunteer positions. It’s my passion, the one arena I enter with a fair amount of confidence.

When my husband and I started our business, I had to stretch to learn new programs and skills, design adjacent skills like video storyboarding and editing, basic animation, etc. It was difficult, uncomfortable, but ultimately very rewarding.

I stumbled into cohousing accidentally. It was a happy accident, but it has presented challenges I might have gone a lifetime never experiencing otherwise. There has been great joy, but also deep hurt. There have been times when I’ve felt the flow of connectivity, and when I’ve felt the pressure of conformity. There have been times of immersion and times of self-protective cocooning. I sometimes question whether I have the skills to navigate this complex world. Utimately, I conclude that it’s all about the learning, which is where I find the most rewarding parts of life.

It’s clear I have a long way to go before I feel confident in this arena of being human.
