Nazin Bagherynejad,
Architect, MBA, Ph.D. Candidate
Nazin is a seasoned architect with a flair for sustainable design, holding an MBA alongside a Master’s in Architecture. Currently, a Ph.D. candidate in Community Engagement and Leadership, she is dedicated to reshaping urban environments, with a research focus on affordable senior housing. Having worked across six countries and held influential roles in multinational corporations, Nazin now serves as the Assistant Director of Engineering and Architecture at the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh. She is a LEED AP for Building Design and New Construction and a National Green Infrastructure Professional, showcasing her commitment to sustainable practices. Nazin champions professional and personal diversity and inclusion to create more equitable and vibrant communities.
