I am part of a group forming Burns Village & Farm, a combination of a cohousing and agrihood community. Burns is about 30 miles west of Nashville, TN. Our 15-acre site that is under contract is part of a 140-acre farm that has been owned by a family for four generations. We envision 28-32 homes clustered at one end of the site, with 2 acres reserved for farming managed by a professional. We will preserve a wooded area that is bordered by a creek, and we will enable to current family to maintain the bulk of their farm as agricultural land.
