Tasha is a white, cis-gender, queer woman approaching 60 who is deeply committed to being a committed and effective coconspirator with BIPOC to dismantle systemic racism. She has 34 years of experience working for and consulting with nonprofit, philanthropic, community, public sector and small for-profit organizations. Before working as a consultant, trainer, facilitator and coach, Tasha spent 14 years as an executive director of two nonprofit organizations, and helped form three others as a volunteer. She has deep experience in organizational assessment, nurturing respect and trust, accountability and empowerment; building commitment and capacity for intentional change; effective decision-making; meeting and process design and facilitation; leadership development; increasing equity and inclusion, and particularly working with white folks to learn about and heal around systemic racism. She is a CTI certified CoActive Coach (2004) and an Inclusive Life certified Inclusion, Equity and Belonging Coach (2022), and was certified in Organizational Diagnosis by Sam Kaner at Community at Work (2014). When she’s not working, Tasha enjoys reading, writing, hiking, singing with friends, feeding the birds, playing with her grandchildren, and pulling ivy to make room for native plants.
