A co-founder of Rooted Northwest, Dave plays a central leadership role not only in ecological planning but also in driving the project’s development process. He works closely with architects, engineers, planners, permitting specialists, and multiple state, county, and tribal agencies. He shepherds Rooted through dozens of development milestones — from site planning and infrastructure design to regulatory approvals and interdisciplinary coordination ensuring Rooted Northwest’s ecological vision is fully integrated into a feasible, implementable development pathway. Dave is also a permaculture designer, educator, and regenerative land-use specialist with more than two decades of experience helping communities, organizations, and landowners translate ecological principles into practical development
