Mastering Marketing Basics

Instructor: Andrea Budde

Andrea has over 15 years of marketing experience in a range of specialties including email marketing and customer journeys, social media, web building and optimization, content creation, SEO, planning and analytics, and more. She currently uses her expertise to help forming communities across North America grow their membership through strategic marketing initiatives and outreach; and to promote cohousing globally through awareness and education. 

Prior to her role with CoHousing Solutions, Andrea served as Project Manager for a marketing agency whose clients have included Fortune 100 companies and other major brands. In her role, she managed multi-million-dollar commercial shoots and campaigns that ranged from linear, OTT and other forms of television to social media, print and out-of-home advertising. Before becoming a marketer, Andrea was an award-winning journalist, covering local stories throughout southeastern Wisconsin. 

Andrea holds degrees in Writing, Psychology and Women’s Studies from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and a variety of professional certificates in Marketing. She volunteers as a Marketing Committee Member with the Cohousing Association of the U.S.; as a Board Member for The People’s Colloquium, a non-profit based in Portland, OR that endows grants and awards to programs that offer free education in the arts and humanities; as a Member of the Foothills Fiber Guild; and as a facilitator for a weekly poetry critique group. Originally from Wisconsin, she now lives in Nevada City, California.
